8 Months?

Wow...it's really been 8 months since I've posted anything here? Sorry peeps! I mostly keep my updates restricted to Facebook, where I don't have to monitor what I post since I only add people I know. :o) So a LOT has happened since that last post.

::drumroll::  I am in a relationship! Heck yes! And he's amazing, not only because he puts up with MOI, but he makes me smile, he makes me laugh, and he treats me like a queen (what woman doesn't want that?!). I don't even know how I got so lucky...

Anyway, enough of the schmoozy shtuff...onto the life challenges. We (Chris and I) are now sharing an apartment (Yay!!) and we've got a room for Aidan (Chris's son, 4 yrs old) who is with us half of the time. :o)  He is such a cute kid, he's going to be a heartbreaker when he gets older!  If you ask him if he has a girlfriend, he'll say he has two..."Miss Liz and Miss Shell too." LOL  We love to take him to the rec center and kick soccer balls in the gym...his favorite sport!  He is also a PRO at Wii-bowling!  He calls it "Bowling in the TV"...haha!

Some of you might know that I took a semester off (they couldn't get my financial aid processed in time, oh well), but I am going to be back to the daily grind come summer.  I am scheduled for 9 credits this summer and 12 in the fall.  Little did I know, I'm just about 1 year away from getting an associates in general studies and then can transfer anywhere I want to finish with a major in whatever I want!  Chris and I have been talking about going overseas to look at schools for when he's done...can't wait!  He really wants to get into a Celtic Studies program and I would like to maybe dabble into History or Folklore...not sure yet.  He still insists that I get back into a music program, but I think at this age, I'm just not going to get anywhere with that.  Anyone have any suggestions on schools for us to look at?

Work is the same...crappy shifts, crappy work, crappy pay.  Nuff said.

How is everyone doing?  I love to get comments, so let me know what you are up to!!!

Oh yeah...I've been sewing a lot lately.  I started up quilting!!!  It's soo fun!!  Anyone want to start a swap??

((if you don't know what a swap is, you create a little package for another person, usually centered around a theme or a filled out survey or whatever...and someone does the same for you...everyone sends one, everyone gets one...fun times!!!))
